Founded by Jon Monk, TOWCLASS is the result of a lifelong dedication to all things towing. Jon’s journey began during his 12 years of service in the Royal Navy, where he operated across the globe, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of vehicles. From caravans used on expeditions to trailers carrying specialist vehicles, kayaks, equipment, and even mobile units, Jon has navigated the world of towing in the most diverse and challenging environments.
Following his time in the Royal Navy, Jon transitioned into a successful career in Sales, working across Europe at Director level. Over the past decade, he has honed his expertise in supply chain management, finance, servicing, product development, sourcing, and manufacturing. This deep knowledge of business operations has been the driving force behind the establishment of TOWCLASS, a company built on a foundation of quality, reliability, and a passion for towing.
When he’s not working, Jon spends his spare time touring the country with his wife, two children, and their dog, towing their twin axle caravan to explore new destinations. This family adventure is a perfect extension of Jon’s passion for towing and provides him with hands-on experience as a regular user of towing solutions. His passion for the open road and the great outdoors shapes the very ethos of TOWCLASS, ensuring that the products and services we provide are rooted in real-world experience and reliability.
